Mike came to see me

Filed under: Uncategorized — gayandy @ 5:46 pm

He seems a lot more comfortable with his haircut. I think when we went to school yesterday to turn in our pics for our school ID’s and get our class schedule, girls were noticing his new haircut, and he was getting compliments on how nice he looks. And I think that took the sting out of all the drama he created yesterday at the barbershop. What a difference 24 hours can make!

It’s HOT today. The next 3 months is the hottest time of the year for us here. Phewww.
And school starts on Monday and there’s no AC in the classrooms. It’s going to be tough. With the hot weather and nothing to keep cool with, tempers flare and fights break out. Every year it’s the same story. And knowing Rike he’ll be in at least one or two of the fights. Do you remember the post I made earlier this summer when Rike got into a fight when me and him went to see a girl he liked. His street surviving skills are no match for someone looking to take on Rike. His fists become like machine gun bullets tearing into the flesh of anyone who dares to talk sh*t to Rike. Me and him get into fights, but it’s not with the same intensity as when he’s fighting someone else. The last guy who fooked up and made the big mistake of trying to take on Rike soon found out that Rike kicks arse first and asks questions later. The guy fighting Rike ended up looking like a blooded pork chop! Rike broke the dudes nose, smashed his lip, broke his teeth, and that was just in the first 15 seconds of the fight! Before the fight ended the dude was on the ground looking like he’d been run over by a meat grinder! He was a bloody mess.
Rike walked away with black eye and nothing more. Rike’s my body guard.

A tale of 2 hairs

Filed under: Uncategorized — gayandy @ 1:53 am

Today was not a good day for Mike. I went with Mike to get his haircut for school. Trust me on this one, Mike loves his hair! I remember when school let out for the summer vacation, Mike told me he’s going to let his hair grow all summer long. And he did, until today. We went to the barbershop and everything was cool until the barber cut the hair on the side of Mike’s head. OMG Mike went fookin’ KrAzY!! He jumped up out of the barber chair and cussed out the barber! He ripped off the cloth the barber wraps around people to protect their clothing, and he ran to the door and he pointed his finger at the barber and screamed, “YOU CUT MY HAIR THE WAY I TELL YOU TO CUT IT. NOT THE WAY YOU WANT TO CUT IT!!

OMG OMG OMG!! What a scene Mike created in the barbershop!!

I didn’t know what to say. I felt bad for the barber because I think he was trying to do a good job cutting Mike’s hair, but I felt really bad for Mike. I walked with him down the street and Mike was crying and crying and crying. People were staring at me and him. They must have been thinking that I beat him up or something, I dunno. It was horrible. Tears were just flooding down his face, he was so angry and he was so mad. I didn’t know what to say or what to do.

We walked to the place to have our pics taken for the school ID’s. While we were waiting for our pics to be developed I took a couple of sneak pics of Mike and his new haircut. He was still furious about his new haircut and I knew there was no way he was going to let me take his pic even if I asked him. And so I snuck in a couple of pics of him.

I think he looks cool. But he HATES how he looks now. You tell me, how do you think Mike looks now??

This first pic is Mike while we were waiting for the bus to take us downtown to the barbershop. This is Mikes pic of his hair the way it was before we went to the barbershop.

These next 3 pics are the pics I snuck shot of him. Which do you think looks better. The before or after pics??

Rike fixed my keyboard :)

It doesn’t look like much, but hey it works, sorta 🙂

Rike came to see me last night . . .

Rike came to see me last night. He seemed calm. He wanted to talk. He talked and I listened. I showed him the video I posted for him to see in my blog. He watched it and he listened to the words in the video. When you scroll down the page you can watch the video I posted for Rike. I think me and him took one cautious step towards each other again last night. When he’s typing he looks like he’s playing the piano, lol, but it’s because he broke my keyboard when we had a fight the other night and it’s hard to type on it now.

Forget about helping me. These people need our help way more than me.

When you scroll down the page you’ll see a post from me asking for help with earning money to repair my Macbook. Forget that. Here’s something far more important that you can do to help people who are trying to survive in horrific conditions. I saw something today that tore on my heart. Whether we agree or disagree with what’s happening in Pakistan, there is no room for disagreement with the suffering that millions (20 million) Pakistan people are enduring. Instead of helping me repair my Macbook, please watch this video and then donate to the Red Cross a trusted and meaningful way of making a real difference in the lives of those who are desperate.

Here’s how you can donate: Red Cross Pakistan Flooding

Here’s how you can help make me happy.

I finally caved and I decided the best way for me to repair my Macbook is to earn money in one of two ways . . . .
Number (1) Dance on the street corner with a trained monkey. But since Jason isn’t here anymore I had to go with Number (2) Put ad sense ads in my blog.

Here’s how you can help me earn money. If you see an ad that you like, click on it and then something happens and I get paid for the click. Or something like that. I’m not exactly sure how this thing works.
I tried it once before with my other blog, and the ads were pretty cool for a couple of days. But then the ads suddenly changed from being cool to being stupid. I was seeing ads on how we can help save the sleeze bug in Indonesia or some other weird ad. I think I earned around 14cents.

Hopefully these ads will now be something that you’ll be interested in clicking on.
