  1. Hi David,Thanks for the dedication. I would have thrown my jeans away long before they reached that stage of destruction. I wonder how they get new jeans to look like that? They must drag them behind a truck for days to achieve that look. I don't think I would wear them even if someone paid me to do it. But, as you say, it's impossible for me to understand the teenage mind.

  2. Hi Brian: That's the way the jeans look when we buy them. The new jeans already come with the torn up look. That's the way they're made. Now, Brian how many pairs of these jeans would you like to have for your collection? lol

  3. Thanks, David, but I think I'll pass. I would be embarrassed to have them in my rag bag.

  4. With all that hot weather you are having you need some flow-through ventilation! I would have to wear tighty-whities with those jeans cos something embarassing might happen. Btw is Rike in the same grade as you and does he go to the same school? I would strongly suggest over the next couple of years that you guys start thinking about careers and what qualifications you need. Talk this over with Rike and get him thinking about it. If Rike has the brains and ambition, he will be eligible for scholarships and grants in many colleges and universities if his family is poor. But he must have top marks. The next 5 or 6 years are important ones for you guys and you are older; it takes more study and work and less fun to achieve your goals. You don't get something for nothing. bfn – Wayne 🙂
