Here’s how you can help make me happy.

Filed under: Uncategorized — gayandy @ 5:00 am

I finally caved and I decided the best way for me to repair my Macbook is to earn money in one of two ways . . . .
Number (1) Dance on the street corner with a trained monkey. But since Jason isn’t here anymore I had to go with Number (2) Put ad sense ads in my blog.

Here’s how you can help me earn money. If you see an ad that you like, click on it and then something happens and I get paid for the click. Or something like that. I’m not exactly sure how this thing works.
I tried it once before with my other blog, and the ads were pretty cool for a couple of days. But then the ads suddenly changed from being cool to being stupid. I was seeing ads on how we can help save the sleeze bug in Indonesia or some other weird ad. I think I earned around 14cents.

Hopefully these ads will now be something that you’ll be interested in clicking on.

  2. Hey Andy,I googled Google Adsense for Dummies. There's a book for sale at Amazon.com on how to make money with Adsense. I am more interested on the Do's and Don'ts of Google about ads. But I could not access a complete list. The book by Jerri L. Ledford tells how to make money with adsense. Right now, the most relevant to you is about what she said on clicking ads: To leave the ad completely alone. Don't tell users to "click here" or support your sponsor. They want people to click because they are generally interested. If Google catches you, they could well cut you off. Based on above, I think it is better to revise your post about this. Also, I recommend that you ask them to give you a written document about how exactly it works and their policies of Do's and Dont's. I can do further research on this if you like. But the materials that may be available to me could be outdated. I think it is better for you to get it from the horse's mouth which will be current. I don't know the kind of contract you signed with them. You are still a minor so I am again assuming that your Dad signed for you. At any rate, Jerri recommends that the payments to you should be deposited directly to your/Dad's bank account. I hope this helps you. Caesar Augustus

  3. Hey Andy,I have to add that it is usually forgivable to make an error in contracts provided you make the corrections soon after realizing the error. In your case, I think it could be overlooked. Anyhow, the purpose of getting full information and clarification from Google will prevent errors from further occuring and will show good faith effort on your part. Caesar Augustus

  6. Er, what happened to your theater job? (or did I miss that post) Even a part time job will give you some bucks for the amenities that teens can't live without. Parents have a tough enough time as it is paying all the bills to run a household and hold a job too. Working and making money does mean sacrificing some of your time and fun. (that is why I hate thieves!) I'll click on your ads but I don't think that will be a big money-maker. If your Mac dies and you don't have a keyboard for your PC wtf will you do lol? We won't get any more Rike updates! bfn – Wayne 🙂
