Last Saturday, Jason, the little brother that I love . . . .
(to hate) blasted off on his return voyage to Venus his home planet.

Later that day he called me, and between the sobs he gave me a tearful thanks for the gift that I gave him.
He reminded me that I promised I’d come to see him on Christmas, to which i replied, yes, but I never said which Christmas! LOL maybe the Christmas of 2024! As soon as I said that, I heard “David Andrew!!” oops my real mom was on the extension phone and she was listening to our conversation.
“Hi Mom”, I said, just kidding, mom. And I thanked her again for the special birthday surprise she gave me last month.
Then she said, hold on a second, Maria wants to say hi to you.
To be honest with you I was surprised hearing from Maria. She’s normally groaning and grinding in a horizontal position, or on her knees servicing the frankenstein she calls her boyfriend.
Hi David she said like a virgin,
that she’s not.

Hi, I said “aren’t you supposed to be laying down somewhere??” Oh David, stop it, she said. I just wanted to say how cool it was seeing you again on your birthday. “Yeah it was cool seeing you too,” i lied.

Then my mom got on the phone and said she’s making reservations for me to fly home on December 21st.
She said she wants to do it now before the prices of tickets go up.
I said, “thanks mom I’m looking forward to coming home” –
I must not have said it very convincingly because she said, “are you sure you want to come home?” I said sure mom, I’m looking forward to burying Jason in the snow! “David Andrew!!” Just kidding mom.

  2. Hi David,You did such a good thing giving that gift to Jason. I know you now have a permanent place in his heart and he in yours. I know he thinks of you every time he plays a game on it. I am glad you will be going to visit him and them at Christmas, I am sure he will be anxiously awaiting your arrival. I am sure you will enjoy your time there, it is something nice you have to look forward to.

  4. David, it's great to get the update on the family visit to you, and Jason's stay. And you're fixed up for Christmas. You like to be cool and tease them, but I know you love them. And the way Jason looks at you in the photo………..!!You really did Pay It Forward with your gift to him.Don't forget to keep in touch until them, although I bet Jason will be "bothering" his Big Brother plenty.I suppose you aren't a little jealous of your Sister maybe getting something you're missing out on? Try not to say things to really hurt her.

  5. I think you are doing a very good job juggling two families! And that is the way you want it cos they are there for you for the long-term. But have a little mercy for your sister. Girls have their own issues and problems in life too and it can be very tough for them. Ok so maybe her bf does not look like a model, but are you judging him on looks and not what is on the inside; what she sees in him? Do not make the mistake of judging people on looks, or as MLK said judge them on 'the strength of their character' keeping in mind that we all have our faults. Sometimes beautiful people are empty, vacuous, egotistical, and are just as ugly as the rest of us when enough years go by lol. bfn – Wayne 🙂

  6. I grew up with an older brother who I adored. I looked up to him so much. It was not until I was older that I realized that my brother was a shit, and treated me badly–and really for no good reason besides the fact that he was immature and cruel. But now I am old enough to know that he never cared about me as much as I thought he did. It has permanently damaged our relationship. I pray that your brother never grows up to think that about you.
